Suddenly the greens appeared and whites and blues and orange
And left us lying there in an overgrown parking lot

Lights from nowhere near
A northern light appears
And I woke in a boat on shore
Across from a shinny store
The pale white light disappears

The summer’s cold up there and clear and cool and high
We watched volcano ash smoke and reach the sky
